The parade along Highway 288 makes its way from the Valley Bar to the north side of town, and attendees line
the road to cheer. Floats are interspersed with horseback riders, tractors and vintage cars. Candies are tossed to children
from the floats.
The museums are all opened, and there are tours to historic sites.
Arts and crafts, including some amazing quilts, are displayed.
Rodeo events are held at the rodeo grounds and home made ice-cream and pies are also on sale.
